DSHB Horse of the Year - Weanling Colts/Geldings:
Impromptu (Ideal/Liaisonne/Frohwind) owned and bred by Kim Ennett, MI was Reserve Champion with 77.2% and Champion Weanling Colt - Oldenburg/ISR

Wromeo (Wradar/Dry Martini/Der Radetzky) owned and bred by Joyce Porter, TX was 3rd with 76.9% and Champion Weanling/Colt - Oldenburg Verband

USDF All-Breeds Awards Winners:

Dominick (Der Radetzky/Take a Peek) owned by Sheila Verdon, WA  was 3rd at Second Level with 65% and 3rd in the DSHB Stallion Class - Oldenburg Verband and American Warmblood Society

SD Dartanian (Frohwind/PF Marquesa) owned by Patricia Clark, IN was Reserve Champion at First Level with 67.778% - Arabian Horse Association - Half Arab  This team won many other awards including USEF Horse of the Year Grand Champion - Half Arab and the USEF Silver Spur Award

Double Scotch (Wradar/Dry Martini/Der Radetzky) owned  by Joyce Porter, TX and bred by Woodridge Farm was 3rd place Yearling Filly with 75.4% - Oldenburg Verband

Feramone (Frohwind/Barah) owned by Dawn Wolsfelt and bred by Carole Biesenthal, IL was 4th at Second Level with 64.271% - Oldenburg/ISR

Pride of Radetzky - above (Der Radetzky/Grand Pro) owned by Robin Ritter, AZ was Reserve Champion at Third Level with 64.348% - Oldenburg/ISR

Fergus (Frohwind/FM Bay Melody) owned and bred by Linda Stoudemayer, TX was Champion 3 Year Old Colt/Gelding with 71.525% - Oldenburg/ISR

Region 9 Championships  

Congratulations to Lyndon Rife who rode the Hanoverian gelding Way To Go, owned by Leslie Schmidt to the Region 9 Open Training Level Championship with 70.962. Way to Go, bred by Woodridge Farm was also 4th at Training  Level in the 2003 USDF All Breeds Awards - American Hanoverian Society with 72.71%.  Lyndon chose Way to Go for Leslie as a 2 year old from our selection of young stock

Congratulations also to Pam Miller who rode the Hanoverian mare Ravelle to the Region 9 First Level Amateur Championship with 69.816%. Pam purchased Ravelle from Woodridge Farm in 2000 

 Kudos to Virginia Celaya on the success of her gelding, Wiebok, by Wradar out of Wiebekin. Ridden by Lori Barrett, he was the High Scorer of the day at the Region 9 Championships with 76% in the FEI 5YO Test. He also won the Oldenburg High Point Award at the Championships show.  Congratulations to Kathy von Ertfelder on her recent purchase of Wiebok.


Enough About You, another 5 year old by Wradar was the winner of the Young Hunter Under Saddle class at the Pennsylvania Futurity.

Fandango and Lambada
Congratulations to Anne Sanders whose colt by Frohwind, Fandango out of Lambada won the Colts of 2003 class at the USDFBC qualifier September 26. He was also the Reserve Champion Colt/Gelding - qualifying for the Finals where he was third. 
Lambada won the Mare class and Champion Mature horse at the qualifier and was Champion Mare in the Finals.
Annual Review (Arrian/Division Review/Dominator) 
owned by Dagmar Nelson was Champion Mare out of 9 Hanoverian mares presented at the 2003 Inspections at Honey Locust Farm, SC. and is now Elite Mare eligible.  


Congratulations to Marefield Meadows, owner and breeder of Andromanche (Arrian/EM Lorelei/Lortzing) who scored a 7.0 at her inspection at Hilton Farm, VA, and 7.33 in her Mare Performance Test (with two 8's on jumping!) to become an Elite Mare Candidate. At the Morven Park Sport Horse Breed Show EMC Andromanche won the Three Year Old Fillies class and went on to become Filly Reserve Champion. This lovely mare was also 2nd place in the USDF SDHB Materiale class. 


Congratulations to Janey Holstein on her success with Ford (by Frohwind) who was recently Champion in the combined THJA Adult/Centex Amateur divisions on the Central Texas Summer Circuit.
Congratulations to Nancy Walk and Franky by Frohwind, who won his very first class at his first recognized show! He scored 71.8% at Training Level Test 1 to top the field of 13 horses.

Congratulations to Jane Sommers whose premium colt Wrainmaker SF by Wradar out of Tequini WF by Frohwind was the Reserve Champion Colt at the Oldenburg inspections at Rainbow Equus Meadows in California. 
Congratulations to Tracy Dopko, owner of Aquarius by Arrian:"(we)..just got home from another dressage show today and (Aquarius) ended up Edmonton & Area Dressage Show Series Senior High Point Reserve Champion for the year".

Congratulations to Kim Ennett and her continued success with the broodmare Liaisonne (Frohwind)she purchased from us. This year, her colt by Ideal won 1st Place in his Colts of 2003 class at both Waterloo, MI and Delaware, OH, then went on to win Grand Champion at the Cosequin/USDF Breeders Championships Finals in Kentucky.  
Congratulations also to Joyce Porter, Austin, TX whose 2002 filly,  Double Scotch, (Wradar/Der Radetzky/Frohwind) and 2003 full brother Wromeo and their success at the recent Breeders' Extravaganza in Austin.  The first day, Wromeo won the the Colt Championships and went on to become CHAMPION YOUNG HORSE. On Sunday, Wromeo was again Champion Young Horse, and Double Scotch was Champion Filly and Reserve Champion Young Horse!  Both youngsters went on to the USDF Regional Championships in September and Wromeo was Reserve Colt Champion (with a score of 80% from Hilda Gurney). The above photo is Double Scotch winning Champion Young Horse last year - we're looking forward to seeing the new photos! 
Wromeo was Reserve Champion USDF Colts of 2003 Horse of the Year Awards.

Our own Duvalier, by Der Radetzky, won the High Point Hanoverian Award at the Columbia, Mo show in July with 74.645%. He was also Training Level Reserve Champion over the 3 days - and this was his very first show!
Congratulations to Kate Raynolds on the success of her Der Radetzky daughter, Deb Radetzky, at her first recognized show June 28 and 29 in Tulsa.  She won all four of her classes under trainer Anthea Kin with scores to 71.4%!

Also, Kate's Frohwind daughter (above) out of Anja was Champion Filly at the USDF/Cosequin Mid-States Finals. Amaya is owned by Kate and daughter, Lisa Chipman.
Paula Walker's Ferguson by Frohwind and the last foal of our Wiebke was Reserve Champion Colt at the Mid States Finals.  In the Qualifier, Ferguson was First in the 2 yo Colts and Geldings Class, Champion Colts/Geldingd and Reserve Champion Young Horse.
Well done Denise Laigle and her 5 year old stallion son of Der Radetzky, Danzig WF. They had a very successful first year of showing in 2002 and have started this year out well too. Danzig competed at the FEI Young Horse Championships at Paxton Farm and also qualified for the US Young Horse Championships at Gladstone.  In June they won both classes in Second Level at the Tulsa show - Test 1 with 69.717% and Test 2 with 65
Congratulations to Sari Jokitulppo, new owner of Destinie by Der Radetzky out of Frohlichkeit by Wertherson. Destinie won the Hanoverian High Score Award at the DDC Show May 10th. It was her very first dressage show!
Congratulations to Jayne Ryan and Farbenfroh aka Phillipe by Frohwind on earning the  First Level - High Point at the ODS Spring I show on May 3rd in Shawnee, Okla.  They were also High Point 2nd-4thLevel Champion at the GCC Show in September.
Our own Arriana by Arrian out of Lyvia (Lemon Park/Bolero) won the Training Level High Point Award at the ODS Spring I and First Level High Point Award at the ODS Spring II, on May 3rd/4th in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Arriana also was awarded the Oklahoma Dressage Society 2003 Horse of the Year and was Champion at Training and First Level
Dominick, a beautiful stallion son of Der Radetzky owned by Chuck and Sheila Verdon, had another exciting year. He debuted at Second Level with scores in the 70's and won Champion Stallion, Champion Mature Horse and show Champion at the Lake Oswego Dressage. He was also the Reserve Champion 
4- year Old and Older Stallions in the Oldenburg Sporthorse Breeding Awards. For more information and photos:
